Tidal, Deezer Now on Lindemann

Lindemann, the German manufacturer specialising in all things digital; network music players, DACs and amplifiers, have announced support for Tidal and Deezer in an upcoming firmware release.

The firmware reported to be released in November will add internet streaming functionality to their musicbook:20 and musicbook:25 network players. Initially only supporting Tidal and Deezer, Lindemann says other services will follow.

Aleksandar Maksimović, Managing Director of Lindemann's Australian distributor Audio Magic, told StereoNET:

The musicbook: 20 is a streaming preamp which can easily handle the high-resolution music playback of HighRes downloads. No matter if you’re streaming music from your music server or listening to internet radio: you’ll be amazed at the great sound potential that’s slumbering in your music collection.

Designed and manufactured exclusively in Germany, the musicbook range of products will be available through Audio Magic soon.

musicbook:20 Network Music Player will available for $5,720 RRP.

  • HighRes playback from UpnP servers up to 192 kHz and 24 bit
  • Class-A headphone amplifier

Lindemann is distributed in Australia by Audio Magic.
