TARA LABS ANNOUNCES NEW APOLLO EXTREME CABLE SERIES
For over thirty years, TARA Labs has been at the forefront of high-performance audio cables. The Oregon, USA based brand this week announced its new Apollo Extreme cable range.

In our never-ending quest to develop and create new technologies, TARA Labs Design Team (TLDT) continues to research new ways to improve our line of award winning products.
The design team's latest development includes interconnects and speaker cables, available in both stereo and bi-wire models.
Like all TARA Labs products, the new range is hand-crafted at its factory, and early reports indicate that the Apollo Extreme range could be considered affordably priced high-end audio cable, with 1-meter interconnects starting at $419 RRP.
The Apollo Extreme interconnects feature a new specialised extruded pure copper oxygen free conductor, as well as a new proprietary dielectric material that TARA Labs says, is “specifically manufactured with high entry-mid level audio component systems in mind.”
The brand describes these cables as “extremely transparent, with excellent high-frequency extension, as well as being open, fast and accurate with precise resolution.”
Boris Granovsky, Director of Absolute Hi End who represents TARA Labs in Australia, told StereoNET:
The new Apollo Extreme speaker cables features four 14 AWG conductors each (+) and (-) conductors paths consisting of SA-OF8N “Pressure group” solid core conductors. Each of the conductor runs is extruded with a thin layer of SVPE primary dielectric material.
The Apollo Extreme offers twice the conductors of the standard Apollo speaker cables.
TARA Labs also use its specialised BSM (banana-spade module) allowing the user to switch between either spades or banana terminations. A feature welcomed in the StereoNET office where we're constantly changing speakers and gear.
The TARA Labs Apollo Extreme range will be available in Australia in May.
