SELBY ACOUSTICS GOES HITEK
Established specialist retailer Selby Acoustics is on track for further expansion following a deal to take over the current location of Hitek Audio Video in Thornbury, Victoria.
The new location will see Selby, who is one of the largest e-commerce players in the audio-visual products and accessories market in Australia, bolster its retail showroom network.
In addition to its state-of-the-art outlet in Hallam in Melbourne's South-East, Selby also operates a retail shop in Geelong.
Shaun O'Brien, Managing Director and Founder of Selby Acoustics told StereoNET:
Selby Acoustics has established itself in the Australian market thanks to our relentless dedication to customer service and communication. With customers travelling across Melbourne to our Hallam store, we realised the demand for another outlet to better serve Melbourne's inner suburbs.
Hitek will close its doors for the last time on June 30th, and Selby will rebrand and refit the Thornbury store in preparation for opening from July this year.
Vic Duca has worked tirelessly in this industry for nearly forty years. The Hitek AV business has an established and loyal customer base which we hope to embrace and continue to serve with the same professionalism Vic has. We wish Vic all the best as he moves on to pursue and manage other interests.
