NZ Distribution Change While AU Distribution Secure, Says Lenbrook
Lenbrook, the parent company of consumer audio brands including Bluesound, NAD Electronics, and PSB, has appointed Connected Media as its distributor in New Zealand. At the same time, Convoy has been confirmed as 'rock-solid' in Australia.
It's been reported that Gord Simmons, Lenbrook's CEO has confirmed the move from Wildash Audio Systems in New Zealand for Bluesound, NAD and PSB.
In Australia however, Bluesound which is distributed by Convoy International has enjoyed incredible success breaking into the wireless multiroom audio market, with the Australian market considered “a major part” of the brand's global sales.
Today, marking the first anniversary of Convoy's founder, Geoff Matthews' passing, son David Matthews has emerged as an affable and highly-capable CEO and leader.
Over the last twelve months, the company has reported increased sales, expanded into new channels, appointed new staff in sales, marketing and logistics, and increased its relationships with core dealers nationally.
David Matthews told StereoNET:
As today marks the anniversary of Geoff's passing, I could not be more proud of the entire Convoy team, upholding the legacy that my father built. Convoy is in a strong position going forward, and we look forward to working with Lenbrook for many years to come.
StereoNET also spoke with Lenbrook, with a spokesperson confirming that “we're pleased with the brand's performance and will continue to support Convoy, having stuck with them through challenging times.”
