NAD ELECTRONICS EMBRACES APPLE AIRPLAY 2

Owners of selected NAD Electronics Classic Series and Masters Series now have access to Apple AirPlay 2.
Apple AirPlay 2 is featuring on many a hi-fi shoppers wishlist more recently, so NAD's announcement is timely. The highly anticipated software update allows users to stream audio content from their iPhone, iPad or Mac, to its Classic Series C 658 BluOS Streaming DAC and the Masters Series M10 BluOS Streaming Amplifier.
NAD has also released a BluOS 2i MDC module that can be installed into the upgrade slots in the C 368 and C 388 Integrated Amplifiers to add BluOS multi-room streaming and AirPlay 2 functionality to those devices.
The integration also gives Apple Music listeners the ability to control playback on these NAD models using Siri voice control.
Cas Oostvogel, Product Manager for NAD Electronics, told StereoNET:
We are proud to be able to offer Apple AirPlay 2 compatibility to our NAD users. And we are especially proud to be able to do so with the BluOS 2i MDC module, since AirPlay 2 technology has never before been implemented in a modular solution like this, where owners of older NAD units like the C 368 and C 388 Integrated Amplifiers, which were first launched in 2016, can receive a new technology many years after their original purchase.
