KEF’S Q SERIES PROMOTION IS ON ‘Q’
It wasn't quite a year ago that StereoNET was invited to the Australian KEF distributor, Advance Audio, and its offices in Sydney for an exclusive demonstration of its new Q Series range of loudspeakers.
I recall the day well, as it was quite the eye-opener. Now in its eighth generation, the current Q series lineup immediately struck me as superbly performing speakers for a reasonable asking price. This really isn't surprising though as previous generations of KEF's Q Series have won countless accolades and have earned a deservingly good reputation.
Johan Coorg, KEF’s International Brand Ambassador believes the current range is easily the brands best yet, and we would have to agree.
The Q series range consists of three 2.5-Way floor standing speakers – Q950 ($2999 RRP), Q750 ($2499 RRP) and Q550 ($1899 RRP). There are also two bookshelf speakers – Q350 ($1099 RRP) and Q150 ($899). Completing the range is a centre channel – Q650c ($1199 RRP). Each model is available in black or white finish.
With all that in mind, if you needed more incentive to buy KEF's best-selling range of speakers, Advance Audio is running a promotion at the moment. Buy any Q series (current range) model and receive up to $200 store credit from participating dealers from now until August 31st, 2018.
For example, KEF's 3-way floor standing Q950 will earn you $200 to spend at the participating store, or the highly capable Q350 will see you earn $60 to spend at the store on future purchases.
Of course, the more you bundle, the bigger the store credit so now's a good time to lay down some cash for that surround sound package you've been eyeing off.
When KEF Founder, Raymond Cooke, received the Order of the British Empire (OBE) from Her Majesty the Queen in 1979 she asked:
This is for loudspeakers?
To which he replied,
High-fidelity loudspeakers, ma’am.
We're sure the answer today would be:
Yes, Q Series loudspeakers specifically, ma'am.
