Gallo Acoustics Finds New Australian Home
Hailing from Scotland, Gallo Acoustics was founded in 1994 and has become known for its spherical loudspeaker design.
Founded by Anthony Gallo, he designed his first loudspeaker at the tender age of fourteen with his the first commercially available product – the Nucleus reference speaker, going on sale in 1994. Today, Gallo Acoustics loudspeakers are sold in over 30 countries worldwide, and Australia is the latest addition to that achievement, with the exclusive appointment on Advance Audio as its distributor.
Gallo Acoustics has a solid presence in the custom installation market for homes and businesses. Its innovative brackets and mounting systems allow the speakers to blend into any modern design aesthetic while providing the maximum audio performance for that area.
Nigel Ng, General Manager for Advance Audio, told StereoNET:
Gallo is the perfect complement to our portfolio. We're finding an increased demand for high-quality audio solutions that fit a modern design aesthetic, and Gallo is the embodiment of this market. They have one of the widest applications in the industry, from smaller domestic systems to bars, hotels and office buildings.
With a range of products for various applications, one thing remains the same - they're compact, stylish, and make both a visual and sonic statement. The range starts from $309 for the Micro which is a high-end 4” speaker housed in an all-metal sphere. While the A'Diva features a 5” driver and can be mounted almost anywhere, even sitting on a cabinet or a bookcase, the A'Diva will sell for $645 RRP.
Colin Urie, Commercial Director of Gallo Acoustics, added:
We're delighted to be working with Advance Audio in Australia. We're confident that their approach to custom installation and passion for high-quality audio products will suit us well at Gallo Acoustics.
Advance Audio says stock will be arriving in Australia in April 2020.
