FIRST IMAX ENHANCED 4K BLU-RAY CONTENT EMERGES

Those fortunate enough to be already sporting one of Sony's latest IMAX Enhanced projectors, and a capable Arcam, Denon or Marantz AV Receiver will be pleased to know DTS has announced the first IMAX Enhanced 4K Blu-rays.

IMAX Enhanced is an emerging format that is beginning to be included on the latest product spec sheets and in particular, the new generation of AV Receivers.

If you want to know more about IMAX Enhanced, read StereoNET's guide here.

Released this week, two nature documentaries and original IMAX films are available on 4K Ultra HD, offering DTS:X object-based audio, and also the first to include HDR10+ mastering.
