Epson says its “breakthrough laser technology provides up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance free operation, with the added benefits of higher image contrast and instant ON/OFF and ultra-bright Images of 4,000 lumens colour and 4,000 lumens white.”
Epson has employed its 4K enhancement processor is an advanced pixel-shifting resolution-enhancement technology to produce 4K images. It also features a dedicated full 10-bit HDR Processor, which uses 100% of the HDR source information. Epson claims a contrast ratio up to 2,500,000:1, for “exceptionally deep blacks and brilliant, vivid colours.”
Epson bundles its Smart Media Player so viewers can now enjoy all of their favourite streaming channels and a remote that features voice search. Source input comes via two HDMI ports (one featuring ARC) that enable you to display 4K HDR content at a full 60Hz, while two built-in 10W speakers will get you up and running quickly.
