Emotiva Lands in Australia
What started in 2004 as a “manufacturer direct” business model, selling to end-users around the globe from their US based website, has grown to attract a worldwide following today.
Bucking the trend and selling direct, allowed the US designed and China-manufactured brand to keep prices ultra-low. Enquiries were constantly fielded from international distributors looking to handle the brand in their territorities, but that just didn't have a place in their business model. Until now.
Now an established brand manufacturing everything from home theatre and stereo amplifiers, speakers, headphone amplifiers and more, Emotiva has changed their tune, opening up bricks and mortar dealers and appointing distributors worldwide.
Australia's Final Link Audio, already representing brands such as Cayin, SVS, and ATI to name a few, were fortunate enough to be rewarded for throwing their hat into the ring. This week, their first shipment of Emotiva has arrived and all but walked straight out the door, according to main man, Shane Lewis.
While their manufacturing is currently split between China and U.S, Emotiva have said that in time they're moving most of the production to their home country, all while retaining their incredibly low prices.
Priding themselves on their high-value offering, a reference class flagship offering in the XPA-2 Two channel Power Amplifier, class AB, rated at 500w/channel (4 ohms) retails for a cool $1,799 RRP. Or for the ultimate in surround sound, the XPA-7 which offers seven channels at 315w/channel (4 ohms) will set you back just $2,999 RRP.
The XPA-200 is a two channel class A/B power amplifier rated at 240w/channel into 4 ohms, or 150w/channel into 8 ohms, available for just $999 RRP.
The Emotiva range is sure to appeal to those wanting high-performance but on a budget, and this brand delivers.
