Bassocontinuo Fine Audio Racks

Bassocontinuo, an Italian manufacturer of hand made racks designed specifically for HiFi and Audio Visual use, have appointed Radiance Audio Visual as the exclusive Australian distributor for their products.

Established in 2008 in Bergamo, Italy, they lauched with just a single range. Accordeon was the first full modular audio rack, and over the past seven years they have expanded the range with racks to suit the needs and applications of all customers. There are now four unique product lines within the range, and today, Bassocontinuo can be found right throughout Europe.

'B by Bassocontinuo' is a customisation service offered by the manufacturer for the ultimate bespoke experience that literally allows for thousands of combinations of colour, materials and rack configuration, by special order.

The appointment of Radiance Audio Visual, who also distribute brands including Kharma, Unison Research, Karan Acoustics, Vicoustic, Soulines and many more, is the first appointment of an Oceanic based distributor for Bassocontinuo and they're excited about making their products available within Australia.

“Racking” up awards at HiFi shows worldwide in recent years, Chris Strom, Operations Manager at Radiance Audio Visual told StereoNET:

We're pleased to add Bassocontinuo to our portfolio here at Radiance. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship with Bassocontinuo racks is second to none, and the extensive range available ensures there is a perfect solution for all dedicated 2-channel or audio-visual systems.

Pricing will be confirmed later this year when the racks arrive in Australia.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
