Nada
Aldi marketing is insidious. Look what they have us doing here freely promoting them. Dam. I just gave them even more publicity.
Addicted to music
This is cool but $24 is a bit steep for Aldi. drop it to $12.99 ad ill line up and at $6.99, I may think about using them as dinner plate mats..... Jokes aside, if it's a special then it's a one off thing until sold out, so I suggest you get in there early to beat all the others dedicated vinyl fans by getting there early on that day........ Besty22
Ok. Who cleaned out Aldi Green Point? I got there at 8:45 and 3 records left. At least the one of the ones I wanted was there. Lol I stupidly thought they still opened at 9am .
Chigurh
Four records left at my local Aldi at 0845 , two of which were Katy Perry. They were just chucked in with a load of other crap too. Maybe they're doling them out in dribs and drabs or maybe someone came in an scooped them all up. Who knows? I nearly bought Goodbye Yellow Brick Road but I already have it anyway in good condition.

medicine_shoes
At Aldi in Preston at 1pm and they still had Elton John, Rolling Stones, Creedence and Katy Perry. They look like promo copies to me, not proper retail copies and the covers are made from cheap cardboard, not the usual good stuff that you get for retail.

And Cosmos factory. Both sealed in plastic. Paper inners Good weight vinyl. Played both. Great. No problem here in Brissy
Hi Fi Delirium
In Bris picked up Stones Exile on Main St and Beatles Abbey Rd. Missed out on Sgt Pepper. Only 3 or 4 copies of each lp available. Katy Perry ones slow to move.
Chigurh
Managed to get Exile and the last Sgt Pepper from the Chermside store. I wonder how many will turn up on Ebay for $50 a pop.

unclemack
I don't understand what all the fuss is about. If we advertised these same albums for $25 each I doubt that there would be a queue of people at the fronT door. Because it's ALDI, everyone thinks they're getting a bargain. If they were $10 each then I'd get it but $25 doesn't seem cheap enough to cause the hysteria it did.

So $25 in my way of thinking is a bargin
