YCC
Was in the historical town of Malacca yesterday and spent some time going through the stock of a rare shop that sells CDs...ended up with the following: - Bill Withers boxset, complete Sussex and Columbia albums; - Isley Brothers original album classics; - Modern Jazz quartet original albums; - Diane Schur - Friends for Schur; - Chris Connor - Chris in Person; - Clare Fischer big band - Thesaurus; - Dave Brubeck - All the Things We Are; - Les McCann & Eddie Harris - Swiss Movement; - Marty Paich - Broadway Bit... Since the demise of my favourite store, Rock Corner... there's a dearth of retailers.

proftournesol
Dave Brock playing cricket, Eric Clapton guesting on guitar on The Watcher, classic Hawkwind tracks reimagined and rearranged with orchestration. Welcome to the alternate universe of Hawkwind. This is a really good left-field Hawkwind album
proftournesol
Also just arrived, 2016's epic Black Mountain release, "IV". 2 LPs of psych-metal retro-fuzz boogie. Under-rated and under the radar

YCC
Was in my hometown yesterday and picked up this bunch: - Lulu - New Routes; - McCoy Tyner - Song of the New World; - Stanley Steamer - S/T; - Jeremy Spencer Band - Flee; - Souther Hillman Furay - Trouble in Paradise; - Jesse Colin Young - On the Road; - Wanda Jackson - Best of; - David Grisman - Acousticity; - Pieces of a Dream - We Are One. A couple are Quadradisc LPs.. wondering how these will sound? Anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, I'd highly recommend spending some time in Amcorp Mall where the flea market is on weekends...a few vinyl stalls and some hi-fi gear shops.

You see it far too often these days like buying multiple copies in recent amazon au bogof sale to see them later flipped at so called good prices. Btw - my baby blue Kurt is also Ltd pressing
Citroen
Yeah, I know I won't flip it. Almost got the blue one instead but the orange, rounded corner, poster version wasn't that much extra...its only money after all! Did you by chance check out the statues of the people and horses of the great land grab? It's at the end of the waterway at Bricktown. Amazing detail on such a large array of statues.
