The jury was out as to what I received before but I have ordered another pair of the same to go into the Stratos, was/am very happy with the performance of the tubes in the Ayon product. Will refit the original Sovteks for the sale and the Reflektors will go into the Stratos along with the new pair coming, should be quite awesome methinks. Certainly looking forward to your musings on the Jbl experience, especially given the wattage at your command and an uninhibited approach to using it. Regards signal/input valve rolling, I'm becoming less concerned about brands and focussing more on getting excellent measuring, lowest noise examples.
