Gieseler Audio
It is called Gravoply & yes you need a special cnc bit to engrave it. http://www.gravograph.com.au/engraving-products/Gravoply_1.php
Jventer
Clay Are you going to only supply it in that enclosure? For those of us with OCD - would it be available in the same size as your dac?
Gieseler Audio
Hi Johannes, yes it will be in that size enclosure. It will not power a Klein DAC or Klein pre so it not designed to match with them. I'm working on a very competitive price for this entry level psu so a bigger case & bigger matching PCB would certainly bump the price up quite a bit. I'm just about to release a dual power supply as well & this will be in same case as the Klein ( maybe deeper though)

Gieseler Audio
Yes I do a 12v 1.5 A version. It uses a fairly big external transformer so is slightly more expensive than the standard version. Cost is $325 which includes delivery. I normally supply them with the correct DC plug/lead to match the equipment you are powering.

Gieseler Audio
The output is 16V AC @ 2.5A 130mm x 90mm x 70 mm
Juicester
Bill - the Klein DAC's need AC input & these new supplies will be DC output so not suitable. The Klein has a similar power supply to these that is build into the DAC anyway. Willco - I can get a suitable external 24V AC transformer so a 24v DC output supply is definitely workable, I will look into it as well. Regards Clay Did this happen? I also need a 24v DC supply
Gieseler Audio
Yes 24 v 1A is no problem. I have actuall just done one for a German Phono stage. Cost is $325 delivered & about one week lead time. Regards Clay
Assisi
I have purchased a W4S Recovery USB Reclocker (RUR) box to be installed between my system server and DAC. Up until now I had only tried the AQ Jitterbug and IFi purifier. Whether these two products made an easily noticeable improvement in the SQ was an open question for me. So I was not expecting much from the RUR based upon my experience with these bits for USB. I have not heard The Regen or Intona. Straight out of the box the RUR worked but I was not overly impressed initially. After a few hours it started to blossom. I was impressed with the noticeable musicality and the increase in the silence between notes. The RUR comes with a low level light weight SWPS. I thought can this go further so I quickly decided to try a LPS. I ordered a 9 volt one from Clay. It arrived today. I plugged the LPS in and straight away I noticed an improvement. I am not sure whether I am good listener and can analyse the fine details of what I am hearing. I come at it more from a holistic perspective in the context of the overall sound. For me with LPS in the chain I could immediately hear what I thought was more weight or depth to the start of a note. Up until now I had not been aware of this aspect of what I was hearing. This added to what was an already long decay of a note was very pleasing. As well there is now even more silence than with the RUR on its own. It is as if the notes are suspended in a vacuum. The musicality of my system is now truly impressive. So I say if anybody has the W4S RUR and is contemplating a LPS go for it. Clay has one that delivers an outcome that you will be pleased with. Clay tells me that it will improve over the next 60 plus hours. I hope so. John

I have a Regen USB with a linear power supply and a Intona Hi Speed Isolator Will be doing comparisons with each and combinations Will report on my and others findings I will post these findings on a new forum Bruce Edited March 19, 2016 by BAM
Suopermanni
Geiseler Audio, I have an LH Labs Pulse X Infinity I got off atsq and I am wondering if I can use your LPS with it! I have a pic of the wallwart it uses and I have tested it with the 15V IPower, which mysteriously works with it. Gieseler Audio
Yes you should be able to use my low noise power supply with it - obviously it would have to be the 12 v version. Quite a few of my PSU,s are adjustable so may be your current one can be set to 12 v depending on the external transformer voltage. Manufacturer's website states: Power Input: 12V DC - 650mA ~ 950mA depend on system load and sampling rate. It seems you got lucky as your current power pack is only rated at 0.6A Max (600mA). I would expect that performance would suffer if you were listening at higher levels and/or driving difficult headphones. Performance DID suffer before it safely shut itself down. Luckily, I changed it back afterwards! Well, going to get Clay's LPS.

mattjtaylor2809
Hi Clay, just read post above, LH Labs Pulse Infinity power specs: Power Input: 12V DC - 650mA ~ 950mA depend on system load and sampling rate What happens if you feed it 1.5mA? Gieseler Audio
Hi Matt, A device only draws as much currents as it needs so a suitable power supply should be able to safely provide more current than the device is rated at. My dual supply has a current rating of 1.5 Amps (1500 ma) on each output so should be fine. The dual can be configured with 12v + 15v or 16v outputs so it would be fine to power both your devices. Cost is $400 which includes delivery & two warranty. Lead time is normally just a few days.
Raffinator
Clay, My dual power supply is deployed. I'm very happy with the supply for my microRendu (7.5v) and Media Converter 9v (fiber optic to ethernet). Gieseler Audio
Hi John, Good to hear it has safely arrived & you are up a running. The main filter caps take a while to run in so it should improve a little over the next few days.
