John Mc
Hi i have read through the psc website, could you clarify whether the conductors are soldered to the rca plug or connected through some other means? Regards John
holliswhy
I believe they are soldered. You are free to confirm with Mark at PSC.
holliswhy
A few reviews here: Stereophile Pure Silver Connection (PSC) PST 8 ✩ Balanced interconnects featuring solid, silver-plated 6N copper and round conductors. LG reported that they reduced system hum problems and were “highly recommended!†(NR) source: http://www.stereophile.com/content/2012-recommended-components-cables xtremeplace 2. PSC Audio - Pristine 8 (RRP $900): Compared with the 3 interconnects cable, the - Pristine 8 stand outs for its ability to present a cleaner (quiet background) background and offers best vocal details among the rest. PRAT is great (Great pace, rhythm and timing) with neutral on timbre.Even though the sound stage is slightly smaller than the rest, I felt that Pristine 8 balanced this off with a greater focus on sound stage with a little “more air†on top (to quote what Pani said) and well controlled tight bass. In short, this cable has a fast, detailed yet smooth sounding with a very quiet background. It’s like listening performance in "studio". source: http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=150964.55;wap2 Listed here for $600 USD. http://www.xtremeplace.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=194894.0 Edited June 6, 2015 by holliswhy

Andrew S.
These are supposed to be very good. I think Ed K. uses the higher spec ones. PSC make some crazy expensive cables.
