YCC
Dusted off my only Taj Mahal LP from my old collection. An early work featuring sidemen like Jessie Ed Davis (guitar) and a young Ryland P Cooder (rhythm gtr and mandolin). Sound is raw and gritty... dig the slide on Statesboro Blues

Derek is one of greatest slide players around taking the reins after late great Duane Allman....some even consider him as the reincarnation of Skydog himself.... This is when he is 13..... Saw him in live in Melbourne few years ago..... Edited March 26, 2017 by pulinap
