gainphile 714
I love my Netflix. Never really watched TV shows/Movies but the occasional MotoGP and going to Cinema but now there are sooooo many options. So I've watched the full episode of 'Cosmos' by Neil de Grasse Tyson. Amazing Watched some old movies (Event Horizon, Total Recall, Star Trek into darkness etc) as I don't really know what movie to watch ! What else are there...? I am pointing my VPN to the US and quite surprised to find a title that's not there but available in Europe (Nicolas Cage "Knowing"). I wonder what else. Please share us what you watch and maybe a bit of review!
L J T 430
I just signed up for a new mobile plan and I was given a free 6 month subscription to Netflix We really enjoy it. Movies on demand. The thing that impresses me the most is the definition of the movies. High quality playback. There is something for everybody to watch and no annoying advertisements that make you jump for the volume control ! We will be continuing the subscription at the end of the 6 month free period.
SteveC 859
Not movies but if you haven't watched the House of Cards series then I recommend it. Kevin Spacey is outstanding in it. There is also season 1 of Marco Polo which took a few episodes to get going but still pretty good and interesting from a historical perspective.
theking 342
Do you watch it from computer or TV? How do you point vpn to US without conputer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
gainphile 714
I use a laptop connected to my TV . But in any case my VPN is terminated from the Router so if I have a netflix appliance in the future that will work too.
2LOUD2OLD 80
Have been watching Falling Skies mostly (almost finished 4th season). Big fan, kind of like walking dead but with aliens. Can certainly recommend. House of Cards will likely be next on my list

Must be because aliens are much more plausible than zombies! Haha. Edited April 14, 2015 by SteveC
Damhooligan 416
The Mrs just finished binging on the first two seasons of Orange is the New Black. We watched that too.. I liked it. Season 3 will be on netflix in 2 months. Also unbreakable kimmy Schmidt is funny..
gainphile 714
Cool. I'll put Falling Skies in my next watch list. TV had never been this fun
Goatboy 777
A few tv series but mainly enjoying Shameless (US version) starring William H Macy as an alcoholic, unemployed father whose family manages to survive in spite of him. Sounds grim but it's actually a lot of fun, providing you like your comedy black.

Then i noticed it was the us version i was gutted. I tried watching it, but didn't lasted longer then 5 minutes..
Ugly 916
Have been watching Falling Skies mostly (almost finished 4th season). Big fan, kind of like walking dead but with aliens. Can certainly recommend. House of Cards will likely be next on my list Great show. Huge contrast against walking dead though as it takes a much more optimistic view of humanity and the survivors of an apocalypse. It is actually nice to see the main characters maintain their belief in doing 'the right thing' despite what is going on around them. I enjoy both shows.

Guest Muon
I just attempted to check what Netflix has to offer, but there is no guide to show what it has. Or have I missed it?

MusicOne 2,148
I've taken up the Netflix offer on my Oppo 105D of a free month's trial. Excellent value for those who like movies. evil c 6,151
Overall very happy with the quality sound & picture quality wise - great interpretive playing of next episodes with series & personal preferences. Lot of old movies but there's always some you haven't seen - enjoying watching Weeds & American Horror Story (Kathy Bates & Jessica Lange are fantastic !)

Goatboy 777
Gave 'Daredevil' a shot after a friend's recommendation. Was pleasantly surprised as I don't have much interest in comic book adaptations. Fight choreography was impressive and the story ain't half bad, courtesy of screenwriter Drew Goddard.
jgfisher 31
Firstly, currently watching Daredevil along with a couple of older movies and Dysney stuff for the kids. Secondly, is anyone else having problems with picture dropping quality? I have read where Netflix will drop picture quality rather than buffer which I have noticed. Today it actually started to buffer while watching. Firstly I could really see the difference in the picture while watching House of Cards, then it started to buffer - happened a few time. I have fast enough internet, but no sure if it has something to do with telstra during peak usage??? Cheers Jon
Marsy 54
Jon, you most likely have your stream setting set to auto. You can adjust it to a fixed video output and it won't drop quality (but you may have to deal with buffering).
Marsy 54
Marco Polo is well worth a viewing.

soundfan 9,089
I watched the brilliant but sad doco about Nina Simone last night. Titled "What Happened Miss Simone?", it's just been released on Netflix. I'm a huge fan, she is my favourite female artist, and the doco gives a great insight to this greatly talented, but equally tormented woman. I can feel a big day spinning Nina Simone records tomorrow.

I've read a couple of books about Nina, and have researched heaps online about her life, but the doco showed stuff that I never knew. Some excellent footage throughout of Nina performing, a must see for Nina fans IMO.
Goatboy 777
Binge watched Mad Men. Had only seen the first season and never continued with it. Great acting, dialogue, sets are wonderful and apparently true to the time period. Plot takes second fiddle but I was happy to enjoy the spectacle.

Alfred Hayes 63
If you like drama, I recommend Bloodline starring aussie Ben Mendelsohn, and Kyle Chandler of Friday Night Lights. It's better than average. House of Cards is also recommended.
