Recommended Posts

he was a top block indeed Shane.

Couldn't thank him enough

shame he didn't leave any spare belts for the platter, just ordered some ;)

he did not have any John. For the flywheel's or the platter? the flywheel's were new, platter I had for ages. Let me know what colur they now provide, as Harry comes up with a new belt recipe every 6 mnths it seems.:popcorn

Could anyone please help me with the email address of the guy? When I tried to "email us" I couldn't do it because I don't have a properly set up email account...

Or, does anyone have a Mint protractor for JMW 10.5i and doesn't need it anymore?

I've had the cartridge in my new turntable aligned in three different ways with respect to a 222mm Michell TecnoArm (modified Rega RB250):

(a) by the dealer using a $300-$400 Feickert device

(:D by a competent friend using his ca. $100 222mm Mint protractor

© by myself using a 222mm Rega/Stevenson protractor I printed out for free from Audio Asylum on a sheet of OHP transparency film.

All three gave exactly the same result. Guess which one I'll be using for periodic checks in the future.

Cheapskates like me can also consult the Conrad Hoffman website for quality printouts: www.conradhoffman.com/index.htm
