Petit-fou-fou
Hi everyone, Whilst I am recovering from my various surgeries I have been bored witless. Going through my 40 odd years of collected stuff I have found stuff I didn't know I owned. A lot of this has been sold by my son on DIYaudio. But, I have decided to keep most of my drivers, hence this thread. Now to the project at hand. A wallmounted thin system for TV or HT types. I found in my sheds the following. 1 pair of Tang Band WT-1427B and a pair of Tannoy 6.5" DC units. The TB's are a shallow highpower woofer that on measurement appears suited for a TL, they will work equally well in vented or sealed boxes with a bit of eq. I have decided on a TL as it allows for a more pleasing shape to be created. The drawings have been done and just need approval by the owner of the room (not me). This will be updated with pics as soon as I start cutting, hopefully in the next couple of days. Pics of drivers

Petit-fou-fou
Well, I got the ok for the design and started marking out and cutting a few circles. Then the hospital peeps called me and this is the result. Another 6 months of limited use and no lifting or loading. Now I'll have to be nice to me boy, this project can't wait that long. I need my monitors back
Sub Sonic
Doesn't sound like you are having a good run! Don't worry, we'll wait to see the results of the DIY speakers Regards, SS
Petit-fou-fou
Thanks, you won't have to wait too long. My boy is going to rout and cut the panels and curves. Nerve transfers are very delicate so I have been given the don't do it even if you can lecture.
