The Artist in Residence for the festival is Gavin Bryars.He'll be performing over 4 nights. Danny Elfman and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra will be performing Elfman's compositions from Tim Burton's movies. Kid Koala Eric Mingus (son of Charlie) and Hal Willner will be performing The Who's Tommy. Terry Edwards and members of Gallon Drunk,Madness and Polar Bear along with Phil Jupitus (QI) perform music from 60's movies. Richard Thompson Electric Trio. Abdullah Ibrahim. Mogwai. Unsound Adelaide featuring Atom,Robin Fox,Container,Evian Christ,Forest Swords, Fushitsusha, Hieroglyphic Being,Lawrence English, Mika Vaino,Model 500,Shackleton,The Bug and Vatican Shadow. Late 70's post-punk band The Pop Group. Japanese band Vampillia who mix classical,heavy rock and punk. 65daysofstatic (U.K) Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra (Canada) and of course lots of theatre, classical music, dance and visual art. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
