Awesome speakers but you have to question the design (height). Anyone know what the thinking was in this design or the intended application of the speakers? Not talking about the audio aspect, purely the size/height.

FrankN

I think those speakers are too tall for your room!

They would fit in my bedroom, but I fear know it would be just the speakers and me.

They will fit, trust me!

Beautiful speakers, GLWTS.

Are you willing to sell the parts separately?

The height is an advantage when you hear the massive sound they produce. That is the beginning and the end of it. Personally I love the way the taller speakers look.

I have attached pictures of my new listening room....tall large floor stander are a must. The extra light really show up the big "trees" as my partner affectionately calls them.

I will never go back to small in statue speakers....tall speakers only for me.

Is it possible to bi or tri amp the speakers?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No you cannot biwire or tri wire....Dynaudio don't believe it necessary...only single binding post. I have attached pictures of the back of Dyns for reference to show how they are connected Edited by Jones99

I don't doubt the sound must be truly awesome. The tree effect must be great and I'm definitely into exploring new boundaries which is why I'm interested in the definitive technology type of speakers (lots of woofers, front and rear sound etc.).

I guess I'm really curious as to how they advertised and promoted these. What the ads looked like etc.

Where do you even get gear like this in Perth (including your other awesome gear running the speakers)? We really only have one half decent dealer in Perth, the rest are just home decorators.  I can only think of one upgrade for you from here . . . Sonus Faber Aida!

The design (height) of the big Dyn's is such to reduce floor and ceiling reflections - Google "Dynaudio DDC".. For some reason I cannot paste a link on the phone.

Heard these at last year's show with Bryston gear. They maybe setup again at the Rialto this weekend. They need some space to sing. It's a good price.

I would not recommend Bryston with any of the Evidence models....although I have not heard all Bryston amps.
