gat474 Posted June 2, 2008 Share Posted June 2, 2008 I got to hear the CV set up the other day with a small HK receiver. It was a pair of 12's for the front, a centre and some stand mounters for rears. Eagles were playing adn I must admit for the measly price it sounded fantastic.. The bottom end in particular was really tight and had a lot of punch. I pointed out to the shop keeper than the subs wer 'off'. When they added a sub (can't remember 12 or 15) it muddied the whole thing off. If I was going to have a fun movies room a pair of 15" 3 way for the front, a centre and 12" 3 ways for the rear and maybe not bother with a sub. The HK receiver was delivering only about 50 wpc.
