Here are a couple more... this thing may become my review rack of choice! Hats off again to Peter and I think I'll stick him on moderator preview so that I can pick up anything else he is selling before someone else does! :)

Wow Alistair, what a room! Table looks great in there.....as opposed to jammed into the corner of my dining room!

I'm very pleased you're happy with it. As I said, I am really sad to see it go, but its very nice to see it in such a fine room.

Thanks for the kind comments all.

Happy to build it again, for the right price ;)

P.S. its Redheart Gum

I'm imagining a whole "set" of these tables/units.

One on each end, facing away from eachother and a large one in the middle with two "feet" pointing outwards.

I'm looking for a new entertainment unit too but nothing I've found d locally comes close to what is like so I'm resorting to a custom design. The curves in Peter's works is very much what I'm looking for. Nice stuff.

That would be very cool............though heavy, really heavy. There is close to a sheet of ply in one base alone!

I bet, but once something like that is set up, you wouldn't really have to move it.

I suppose it would be difficult to actually MAKE it if it is that heavy however.

Do you have any "making of" pics of the table?

:)
