Keizo Nobori – tenor saxophone
Satoko Fujii – piano, pianica
Hiroshi Funato – bass


Itaru Oki, one of the pioneers of free jazz in Japan passed away the other day, so thought I'd play this disc. He came to my attention a few years back through his association (among many others) with two other favourite Japanese jazzers of mine in Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura.


Another great sadly gone.

Dinah Washington - Recorded live at Newport Jazz Festival, 6 July 1958. Not mentioned on the cover but Wynton Kelly was accompanying Dinah on piano.
