Binker & Moses- Escape The Flames, New one from Sax and Drums Duo from Uk, basically a live recording of the first part of their Journey To The Mountain LP from few years ago, brilliant!

Picked up this 3 LP box set on the used market recently, and what a gem it is. Is this jazz or world music? Well, actually it's a fantastic blending of both. When a substantial collective of Miles Davis alumni are joined by an equally impressive collective of Indian virtuosos, with the intention of reinterpreting some of Miles output in a way sympathetic to the originals, this is the result. This may very well become my discovery of the year. Simply exquisite!

Poland has some great jazz musicians...They sure do,  I was in Krakow in 2019, the week after the jazz festival, typical of my haphazard planning, would have dearly loved to scour the shops & markets for local jazz on vinyl/CD, but did not have enough time unfortunately.  A really pretty city & great beers too!

Another good one, recorded at Radio Gdańsk in 2006.
