It's only on rare days that I don't listen to Brazilian music. I have in excess of 200 albums. I must go there one day.

t_mike
Mine certainly won't be unfamiliar. Time off work already arranged. Again.
Ian McP
I've noticed quite a few Womad acts also playing Port Fairy Folk Festival plus major cities. Commercial viability raises it head more often these days! Maybe closer to the date us world music tragics should exchange phone numbers so we can cross paths in the botanic gardens at Womad. regards Ian

Its good that they put video clips of the artists on the Womadelaide website. A few familiar ones to me, as well as unfamiliar. That's what I like to see, new things to discover. Its good to see Rodrigo y Gabriela on the program. I haven't had the chance to see them live yet, although they have been to Australia a number of times. First time at Womadelaide though. I also see that Anoushka Shankar and Tinawiren are returning. A few of the unfamiliar acts that I'm keen to check out are Elephant Sessions, Violons Barbares, Le Vent du Nord (always good to see Canadian bands on the program), Dustyesky, ... and more.
mrbuzzardstubble
I don't think I'll be attending Womad. I have my mind set on the Melbourne Jazz Festival or the Adelaide Guitar Festival. This guy is confirmed to perform at the latter.
