att23
One of my favourite labels Hugo Production who specialises in Chinese traditional instrument recordings. Awesome recording/mastering and performances. True audiophile production since the 80s. Gu Qin is my favourite Chinese instrument. And then followed by Kodaly recording from Janos Starker, for which the unaccompanied cello sonata is in many ways so similar to the Chinese string recordings!

PKay
This is a wonderful performance and recording. A lessor known conductor than Fritz Reiner but well worth tracking down a copy.

Admittedly I have never pay much attention to him, but I do have a few records where he was conductor because he was working with Pierre Fournier and David Oistrakh. And they are records that I love.
