Currently mixing an Emotiva XPA-2 with a Pioneer AVR and B&W 683's with half decent results for HT. Definitely a step up from the Pioneer internal amps..

A combo of Emotiva amps to get the required amount of channels you need? XPA5 + XPA2 perhaps?

What is your budget? I am using a Parasound and I find it towards the warmish end.

Hi guys

It looks like he needs 9 channels of amping.

Maybe get an emotiva XPA-3 3 channel for the Front R & L and center 200 watts/channel will work well (719 USD)

Then use your AVR for all the other 6 channels

or 2 x emotiva XPA-5 - 10 channels all up with 1 spare in case... ! (899 USD each)

cheers Chewie
