How Do You Clean Your Stylus...?

I use:

90% distilled water

10 % isopropyl alcohol, and to that I add half a dozen drops of Finish (dishwasher liquid)

works a treat

Very similar to what I use, and it works well.

The only problem I have is with the really filthy records. I intend to try some "pet smell remover" on some really stubborn stains - it contains enzymes, isopropyl, vinegar and a few other things. Worth a try. For the really crackly records I am going to try washing in a mix of warm water with dishwashing detergent and vinegar. I have used this before and it has not affected the record. Needless to say these solutions are for special cases.

You can try some electronics stores. I get mine from a shop on Dandenong Rd in Springvale.

Hi sheds,

Sorry for late reply. I rang around a few chemists a few years back and found one that would supply me with 500ml. I had to sign a form stating what it would be used for before they sold it to me.
