Just delivered a new tube amp built for me by Benjamin at https://nanoat.com/        (with a monster output of 4 watts per channel )

Dealing with Benjamin was a breath of fresh air. Finally someone who took the time to listen and recommended an amplifier that suited the speakers I have.

Looks very nice.

Your spot on with Benjamin. Great communication informing you of what esoteric parts he is installing and why with a scary amount of knowledge and in my case a lot of patience.

Looking forward to getting my hands on mine.

Hows it sounding Yngvi?

Its sounding very good straight out of the box. I really haven't stopped listening to it.

As for Benjamin, he was great to deal with and I agree he has a scary amount of knowledge. He kept me informed at every step of the build and always explained to me what he was doing and why.

I wish I met Ben earlier, I would have saved myself so much money time and angst. Its nice to have a bespoke amplifier built to my requirements.

Very happy this design works for you , 6BX7 PP with a lot of silver wire , PSSS silver secondaries & a cluster of rare bespoke parts.

Below is a  5B-255M  tube used in pairs for PP 25-30 watts next build - STC225 Retro, Lundahl Transformers  , small chrome mono blocks, very similar footprint to Quad II chassis , close voicing to the 6BX7 PP.

Not exactly stereo but still valves.

This is a Lamington 15W guitar amp I built from kit. The speakers are my own design/build 10" Eminence + 8" Jensen
the designer of the amp is Grant at Valveheaven. I asked him if he would consider a HiFi amp but at this time he's not. Pitty.

Are those tube amp kits worth the money?
If so what would be the recommended?
I'm currently paired to a Pioneer SC-LX76 but if I can find a good kit amp I'd be more than happy to have the TT separate from the digital receiver

New arrival, finally got a pair of Raytheon 5751 windmill getter to try, gain is a bit higher that 12AT7 but it is just fine with the Leben.

@Peter-E, i cannot comment on the value of the kit apart that i am very, very satisfied with mine, i don't have the skills to assemble it, so i had it done from the purchaser. doogie 44 reviewed some speakers in August 2019, he had 5 valve amps, one of them was the Elekit TU-8200, the most expensive was a line magnetic (4.5K), i asked him his opinion, it turned out the Elekit is what he had listened to the most in the past 12 months!

you can read the whole review in, Products&reviews +Opinions, under the title Review of TEKTON Design perfect set 15 posted by doogie 44 on August 21 2019
