Both actually, I started collecting all sorts of tubes many years ago for fixing radios, audio gear and for display, but after a while it gets to the point where it becomes unmanageable and I try not bringing banana boxes full of tubes unless there’s something I really want in there. BLAH BLAH
Yeah feck the banana boxes full of tubes...go the pallet load!
doogie44
You are the Champ! Those boxes are meditation objects. Those tubes might be like my LP collection, I wonder whether I will live long enough to play them all again...it's strangely relaxing to see the visual 'confession' evidence of someone whose issues with tubes are bigger than my own! One is envious despite everything.
Bisguittin
I have a very humble box of maybe 20 or 30 valves over and above what my equipment uses. But there wouldn't be a single one in there worth less than $50 - $100+. I am interested to know whether wives and families have any idea of the value of these mammoth tubular collections you megastars have got? 1

My wife said when I go so do all the valves in council clean up. It happens twice a year in May and November so keep your eyes peeled if you live close by. Willmax
Some wonderful eye candy for the tube lovers, courtesy of @Pasic007 thanks for the great pics of lovely tube gear! Bit annoying trying to get the frame right with 80mm lens. These are unprocessed, straight of the SD card so nothing amazing... Photoshop subscription is too expensive for someone who uses it 5x a year. 5
