3 x 7.5 m, Charcoal on 10 sheets of paper.

Burnie Regional Art Gallery, Tas.

Very eye-catching:  The up-close texture and detail is impressive.

Java - Sugar Mills .. a number in Central Java still operate with steam, modernised from the Dutch during 1925-1930.  Amazing operations to visit.

Tallest lighthouse in WA Leeuwin Lighthouse. Quick phone snap before departing turned out great me thinks.

Quick fact, original hand made lens worth estimated 2.5million.

Great to see such an erudite ant (love the look and idea). Let down somewhat by the angle of the sunlight but it's a minor nitpick.

With Bluesfest cancelled over Easter only 24 hours before it was due to start, my youngest son and I reversed at Tenterfield and stayed in the Hunter Valley at our friends Beef property, situated in a valley at Wingen Maid near Scone.  After 6 shocking years of drought it was a dramatic change after all the rain, the creek was running again and there was 16ft of water in the well.  We played with Emma, a young rescue Wombat who luv'd getting under my car, and I chased the Picnic Train doing local trips in the Hunter Valley.
