Post some pics thread...

Recommended Posts

Well I just got Photoshop CS3 and have been playing around a little (very complicated program). I figured since there seems to be so many budding photographers on the forum we should have a thread where they can show off a few of their favourite pics as they happen.

I'll start us off. These are only taken with a FZ-28 Panasonic (The Canon 40D arrives next week).

I'll start off with the Tamron 17-50 2.8 as it is a bit cheaper and suppose to be on par with the Canon eqivalent. After that the list is: Canon 100mm Macro 2.8. Canon 100-400L and the Canon 28-105L. I sure am good at picking the expensive hobbies....

Love the bee on the flower pic. What lenses are you using? Do you still have the 5D?

Well the 40D came on Friday so I went out tonight and took some shot. I am having a few troubles with Photoshop CS3 reading 40D raw files for some reason after importing them from the card into lightroom. Any Ideas??

Keith, Is there a bit of a birds and bees theme going on here....good to see. Should be more of it - the birds that is, not so much of the bees (except bee-mers)...

Yeah NFA. She married a bloke from Queensland (Bruce), had a few kids and lived happily down at Dapto. Impressive how well she managed on social service payments. She was a bit pissed off, though, when the National Geo guy turned up one morning unannounced. He almost collected her VB - stubby holder and all!

cheers

The coffee machine? Well, bit of a pissing competition with the proposed Coffee GTG, I guess....

Very nice, I recently bought a Vibiemme Domobar (not the Super model) and a Rancilio Rocky grinder.

A couple of decades out Alan, but I know the photo you are talking about - horrible image and one that has been miss used several times (to depict other wars). The girl in 2sheds image (of his cousin) was an Afghan war refugee photographed by Steve McCurry in 1983. Information on this photo can be found here
