Agree. I travel the Calder Freeway from Castlemaine to Melbourne frequently these days and it's a pleasure in the 380. I have to say the standard sound system is quite impressive as well! I love how solid and tight the 380 is. Mine was 11 years old when I bought it and it felt like a new car.....and still does. Toy tab construction.....genius!👌

Those trips have seen the death of my 380....I hit a big roo on the Calder a couple of weeks ago and the car was scrapped by the insurer (RACV.....they ripped me off on what they gave me back for it, subtracting the remaining years premiums off the total.....another $670 off my payout.....bastards!) Anyway, I got another 380 (in a better colour....below). They're a great car!👍

I have absolutely no need for one, but I really want a new Suzuki Jimny. The reviews for this new model have been really positive.

Fabulous little thing. Live axles front and rear, insanely good approach , departure and ramp over angles.

The only thing you loose to the big boys are ultimate clearance clearance and wading depth that 95% of people never get close to exceeding. No good for big Safaris, petrol is not great to transport, hot exhaust ,small tank and limited carrying capacity.

For smaller trips, long weekends away, sand work, small tracks just brilliant. Little Suzzies have been driving past bogged heavy weights in the sand for decades.  Spot on for fishermen and the daily runabout on the farm and in the bush.

Might be a fair old waiting list, they can’t build them quick enough to meet just the Japanese demand. These will hold their value big time. Funky, fun, cool.

Looks like someone has taken excellent care of that old girl.

Sorry to hear of the death of the last one, the value insurers put on cars today makes any vehicle with a couple of years under the tyres liable to being written off without a very big a shunt.

My father's 1963 EH that I'm helping to restore back to her former glory.

It's been ongoing but it's coming together slowly. The Interior arrived back last week and looks fantastic wrapped in clear plastic. 2018863326_RED20EH.jpeg.468351ba6b87c795f0a8a2643f3fa242.jpegIMAG0871.jpeg.b9a3549dec588457b01b0360d07975c8.jpegIMAG0870.jpeg.655cf9d59b6659e2b4a919a4904ddc47.jpegIMG_1528.jpeg.2e0a94a7ec14d6163d37a32dee17f0bd.jpegIMAG0703.jpeg.9564e41b19d6ecc6c2e73b15482e138a.jpeg

The restoration is looking great, the EH is my favourite car ever, always wanted to stick a 350 Chevy in one, had 3 over the years, what colour are you painting it?

Always loved this shape, often see an 1800 junior buzzing around my area, same colour but decked out for the track, racing harness, decals etc.

old friend of mine has built a few classic open wheelers

That's a minority argument and you know it. In the short term at least, electric vehicles will not completely kill ICE vehicles. Only most of them. And as for drag cars? Haha, hahahahahaha

Fez, I have spent the last fortnight doing a revegetation job, drilling hundreds of holes with my old Stihl BT-120C. I hate that fcuking thing, and when Stihl put out a battery powered equivalent, trust me it will happen, I will be the first in line to buy one.

Saw this vehicle in a country shed mid last year.

Reliably informed it is serial number 1.
