Random cars of interest

Recommended Posts

@Powerglide love it when people keep these as original as possible...seems to be the new trend rather than trying to make them into better than show room condition... these things are better ageing gracefully...

love that original interior with upholstery... they really did interiors with a bit of character back then rather than basically the mutishade of grey/black get these days !

nice one... great someone is looking after it ....

Nah---

boring colour,

can't drive it in Australia except on the track and it's too valuable to actually use.

14 years old and only 4000 Km--lucky if it runs.

(Hope I've convinced myself.)

I'm not sure if this place has had a mention here, but it's a rather nice place to browse cars - more like something you'd find in Sydney or Melbourne rather than Adelaide.  They've had some lovely cars in recently including a gorgeous Ferrari Daytona:

Also, it's shameless plug as my little BMW is in there currently on consignment:

And I love the 50 years of patina on the interior of the Daytona:

On the recently sold page, the Australian designs, especially the '73 Monaro, look shockingly coarse among all those smooth european (and even American) lines.

Great car. Stirling Moss called it his favourite car. Lovely high performance small block V8.

I remember the day Dad brought one home. I drove it as often as I could.???
