Are you kidding Al? The Superb leg room is massive! Boot space is biggest in class. Still, the tradeoff is it's not as quick as the Golf.

good to hear, as gives people another option. I meant and perhaps i should have worded better that skoda has updated their version to match vw 7.5 :) not talking room I mean tech wise :)

I cant remember but if i remember golf R always lost a bit for boot too because of the AWD. but the wagon will sort that.

one day we might have a wagon :D  kids bike and all that hehe

I know that looked avant-garde and spectacular when new, but I have to say that now it looks "dated". :sorry:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Here a picture of the original PL500 prototype, never to see production. Note the absence of the NACA ducts, the twin deeper cutouts and air boxes needed to cool the engine. This shows the absolute purity of design from Marcello Gandini. Gandini and Stanzani worked very closely together on the development and production of the Countach.

Radical in design yes, but also amazing engineering with the location of the gearbox ahead of the longitudinally located V12, spaceframe chassis and of course the vertically opening scissor action doors (see Alfa Romeo Carabo)

The Countach was an amazing sculpture, almost devoid of curves yet with a purity of geometry broken by sharp edges over smooth curves. A breathtaking design indeed -- Guatem Sen - Marcello Gandini, Maestro of Design
