I recently brought my Audeze LCD3 back to Brisbane and managed to compare it to my trusty HE6. I was using the LCD3 with a portable setup (iPod Classic, Cypher Solo, RX II) and it was a good combo. The LCD3s are so easy to drive. But in my study setup with a modest Schiit Lyr, the HE6 was still my preferred headphone. The LCD3s are just so much darker compared to the HE6.
