I have followed his career from the mid 70's (801 - 1976), to ( Toto - 1992-2008 / 2010 -2014) plus various stints with Judas Priest, Michael Schenker Group but he really shines as a great jazz fusion drummer. Check these chops out along with anything he has done with Antoine Fafard I couldn't delete this 2nd copy so enjoy it again! If you like music from the likes of Brand X then this is right up yer cul-de-sac Simon Philips with Hiromi & Anthony Jackson (live) Edited January 4 by mrbuzzardstubble

Hiromi's body of work is kinda special so along with 2 other classic musos of SP's and AJ's talent, you have a nice trio of minstrels who know no boundaries. Great stuff!

The half speed master would be very disappointing if you have paid a lot for it. A very muddy and lack lustre pressing. 1

zippi 3,751
Berlage Saxophone Quartet - Bach: Goldberg variations, BWV 988 (AvroTros Klassiek) -- very refreshing to hear these familiar variations arranged for and performed by a saxophone quartet. Sax having been so thoroughly ignored in "classical" music for ages - I didn't realise such a thing as a sax quartet even existed. Edited February 2 by zippi
