I saw it on Sunday Al, loved it. Had to pause it half way through to recover from the laughter. Who needs Hollywood when Finland puts out such classics like this. Mind you, anyone who doesn't like B grade storylines should steer well clear.

Bit of movie trivia for you.

The actor that plays astronaut James Washington, lives here in Melbourne.

His daughter goes to school with mine

I've been wondering what this would be like - I'll have to add it to the collection.

Loved the digs at America, in the last quarter of the movie. And the quote "I thought we were going to have to bomb Australia or something" haha, I did laugh at that. Glad we're not forgotten!

Star Wreck - in the Pirkinning was barely adequate and this wasn't much of a step forward.

But if you like Iron Sky then try "The 25th Reich" also, it's a Melbourne 2012 production that ticks these boxes and has a sense of humour.

My fave Australian comedy to date has to be Hercules Returns.

It was selected for a movie night in college, many years ago in London and I've loved it since.

I'd love to watch it again some time ;)

be ware, this trailer contains loads of spoilers!

Anyway back to Iron Sky....

potential spoilers...

(the north korean diplomat at the UN claiming the UFOs were from his country had me cracking up, along with the spoof of the famous scene in Downfall where Hitler dresses down his troops...
