(I did) Michael Ive seen a number of plinths, similar construction - maybe not as costly as this - which also look fantastic for a Garrard table, 401 i think.

Steve M
Not sure why a fancy plinth turns an old Garrard 401 into something worth the price of a NEW Toyota Corolla hybrid car?? 1

Hello Steve M, if you're referring to the deck in the pic, I think you'll find it is a Garrard 301. I think I'd prefer the Garrard to a Toyota hybrid! RCAJack
I stressed out when he used a drill to screw in the IEC mains input (at 33.44). I’d have to put something there to protect the plinth just in case it slipped and caused a nasty heart attack. 5 hours ago, Steve M said: Not sure why a fancy plinth turns an old Garrard 401 into something worth the price of a NEW Toyota Corolla hybrid car?? Bit of click bait there. He adds £10K worth of tonearm and cartridge near the end (Ikeda 345 and Audio Note Io according to the captions). For me it’s not clear if the remaining £3K is supposed to cover both the nice looking 301 and the plinth?
