Frank Prowse Hi-Fi
The COS Engineering Co., Ltd. D10 is an incredible DAC, aimed at competing with the big boys at a more affordable price. Stunning sound, stunning build quality, this DAC has two things we love that's seems to be missing on most DACs/digital preamps - an analogue input and, importantly, modular design. Add a Roon Ready streaming module, or, for vinyl enthusiasts, a phono module. All for an amazing price. Now in-store. Full information as well as a PDF brochure can be found at:- https://www.cosengineering.com/products/d10/

Scratcher
How does it compare to the Hugo TT2 considering they are at a similar price point?

I'll chime and give my (and it is just my) opinion. As an outright DAC, I prefer it to the Hugo TT2, more lush, a more spacious sound, more organic. The streaming module is excellent. The only thing I havent compared is the headphone amp sections of both. I'm not a headphone guy nor do I have anything to hand to give them a good flogging! I would actually consider this product to be treated in the company of the DAVE or dCS Bartok, its that good! While not quite reaching the heights of what those two are capable of, when you consider you have an analogue input and the option of a dedicated phono stage and you are still around 50% of the other two, it really is a bargain and exciting where the brand are moving.
