Highly regarded Grace tonearm with Decca cart that has been Garrotted/micro scanned at some stage of its life, lively dimensional sounding combination, nice bass, mounted on a board I made for a Thorens TD125  :-)

Superb photos, well done

Micro scanner - Genuine article from indicators. The micro-scanner sticker indicates the stylus fitted was a Garrott parabolic micro-scanner, being quite an expensive upgrade over the round or ellipitcal types at the time.

Yes, I thought that micro scanner sticker indicated a possible "Garrotting". Thanks.....

Modified by the late Garrott brothers, as mentioned in @Anthony1's post.:) They were famous for making Decca Gold's sing. Their work was in demand around the hi fi world. You have a winner......until you don't!

      These are the original version of Campfire Audio Solaris IEM. A2A currently selling these at RRP $2899.  Many reviews online. I was pairing these with a Chord Hugo 2 and an Audioquest Firefly Red. The Solaris was enjoyable listening with both sources.
