And of course it has nothing to do with increasing popularity of people listening to their own music at their convenience rather than the BBC's music at the BBC's convenience.

I thought I saw a quad 405 from 1976 in the shop front, very similar dimensions if its something else, and the booths look to be edited in from Italy

The people listening to stereo looks staged, being told or paid to act that way, so looks cheap and silly IMO
