QAC GTG at John's

Recommended Posts

I must say that I really enjoyed the GTG at John's place in Tinbeerwah.

John, please thank your wife on my behalf for the terrific lunch and thank you for the

informative display and friendly welcome.

The 4212e monoblocks were impressive and the "old time" demo brought back a lot of fond

memories.

For those of us that like valves it was a real treat!!

My first QAC meeting and I had a great time, the first system playing the 78s was pretty damn impressive, much better than I expected and the highlight of the day for me, I just wish I had a better seat.. hearing the history of the records he was playing was a also entertaining and a nice touch, all round a really good day out and well worth the long drive.

Thanks very much John for opening up your house and sharing your lifelong obsession with us.

... Oh and lunch was superb, thanks also to John's wife!
