Pararigger
Gday all. I have speakers with bi wire posts. I would like to try them out with jumpers. Seen many pictures and read why it may / or not be worthwhile. I just want to have a listen. I have attached a pic. Would this be correct. Thanks

My current DIY speakers actually require bi-amping due to differences in efficiency so not relevant there, and my B&W DM-16's only have the one set of terminals. Thanks Unusual configuration of binding posts - in my experience they are usually in pairs (black-red, black red). Yours are black-black, red-red. How do you know which is which - do you assume top red is tweeter, bottom red is woofer etc? what are the speakers btw?
Pararigger
Gday all. The pic I posted was how I have seen speakers on the net using jumpers. What threw me is the pic below. Thats why I posted here to get an idea from gurus. Then Willco shows me his " quirky' diagram. Just to confirm, I can use either Willcos quirky diagram and / or my pic/diagram? Appreciate the assistance Ta.

No idea or in regards to tweeter and woofer wiring. Just know they have them bi wired and working. Speakers are Orpheus Aurora 3. Andy Well if h'e gonna use jumpers --single wire +/- from the amp--then short jumper wire from either terminal pretty basic. I'm presuming he's going "try" that method and not the quad wire input he showed in Pic 1. I posted the pic of the 103s as the jumpers threw me compared to other jumped speakers I have seen; just like Willcos diagram Most on the net were bridged + or - top or bottom only. I did it that way as some on here were saying things are better connected like that, I did think I heard a slightly better balance after doing it like this with those friends 103's. Thanks <snip> So you want to undo the bi-wiring and go to single wiring? Then yes, jumper the positives together and the negatives together. I can't see any advantage to going from bi- to single unless you plan to upgrade your speaker wires substantially in money terms, but simple experiments can sometimes have interesting results.
