Further information:

For SALE here is the result of a "LABOUR OF LOVE PROJECT" which took many years to complete and coupled with the right HIFI equipment, these speakers give results dreams are made of.
THE DRIVERS:
two 15" Monitor RED Dual Concentric speakers with close serial numbers - Almost an Un Obtainum in today's Vintage HIFI market.
Silver Duelund Wiring was used from the connections for the HF and LF drivers to the binding posts of the external crossovers.
THE CROSSOVERS:
Connex Binding posts were used for the external crossovers having used the ‘bypass’ method, thus binding posts are not part of the circuit.
All Inductors, Capacitors and Resistors are from the DUELUND Range.
For the HF and LF circuits PIO CAST Copper Inductors, capacitors with silver resistors were used.
For the parallel running Notch Filter in the HF Circuit, the capacitor from the DUELUND RS range was used with a WPIO Inductor.
Silver wiring was used in the HF circuits, with copper wires in the LF circuit.
THE CABINETS:
Custom made of 25mm solid Jarrah Wood - as per Tannoy’s GRF-R plans, including the fitting of the very important 'Teardrop' at the beginning of the horn chamber to avoid the mixing of High and Low frequencies through the horn chambers.
The rear removeable panels had been strengthened with 40mm in depth frameworks, the void spaces filled with sand and another 25mm solid Jarrah panels to avoid mechanical vibrations and for a tight and beautiful bass.
THE SPEAKERS PLATFORMS:
Made from 40mm Perspex for the speaker cabinets to sit on, custom made solid Brass Spikes connect the 40mm Perspex to the floor.

I live in Perth, Western Australia
and local pickup is preferred, but can ship Australia or worldwide at buyers cost.

How have you managed to better these. I imagine these would better or equal anything else in the Tannoy line up

Thank for you comments guys;-)

I have all the photos from the manufacturing process for these speakers available.

Also, the wiring diagram for the external crossovers are available.

Problem is, -people are always interested in the purchase of a Porsche but are willing to pay for a KIA only:-)

I'm surprised no one has bought these yet. They look like the ultimate endgame Tannoys!

I wish I was in WA to be able to come over for a listen.

@Braumeister What speakers are you planning to replace these babies, I'd be curious to know?

Item Condition: Mint, As New Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.,Shipping is available at agreed cost. Suburb or Town: Central Coast NSW State: NSW Payment Method: Paypal, EFT, Cash on Pickup Reason for selling: Getting out of vinyl Chord Huei MM/MC Phono Preamplifier

Barely used, perhaps about 5 hours of use in total so its in mint condition.  Has 2 of its 3 year warranty still remaining. Comes with all of the original packaging .

I bought this along with a Rega P6 (also for sale) to give vinyl a try but I dont think vinyl is for me.  Tried it with my Rega Ania MC and it sounds great.  I wanted a phono that had a lot of control for the gain so I could eliminate as much noise as possible and this certainly gave me that.

Item Condition: New Shipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available. Suburb or Town: SURRY HILLS State: NSW Payment Method: Paypal, cash, EFT Reason for selling: Not needed A few months ago I decided to turn the great-sounding but ugly and complicated DIY 3 way actively EQed open baffle speakers I've been enjoying for many years into almost-as-good sounding, simple, WAF-friendly speakers I could maybe sneak into the living room.

I was using a couple of MiniDSPs and a big ugly 8 channel amp.

My initial thought was buy a couple of MiniDSP PWR-ICE125 plate amps and build them into the cabinets with a hybrid passive xover.

When they arrived it became obvious that wasn't much more simple, so I switched to a passive crossover for each speaker with one PWR-ICE doing amping and EQ for the pair.

      This is working well.

      So I don't need the second PWR-ICE125.

It is brand new in the box and comes with the optional backbox so you can use it free-standing or as a plate amp.

The amp section is B&0 Icepower. The DSP section is the usual MiniDSP but with digital and analog inputs, and best of all wireless control.

      https://www.minidsp.com/products/plate-amplifiers/pwr-ice125

Pick up in Surry Hills or I can ship.

The pic is the amp I am using. The one you are buying is still in its box.
