I am thinking of maybe upgrading to floor standers in the future......... I am really only wanting Black Speakers though as I have only Black and White in my home and nothing woodgrain. I know you like it because it fits in your entertainment unit. But more power equals more heat. Do you want to borrow my Ambience 1800 references? I'm not using them at the moment. I have plenty of spare gear she can borrow (I've got 6 systems in my house, plus spare gear - yes, I am an audio hoarder) to get an idea of what she likes and more importantly what she doesn't like! One of the benefits of being a Queensland Audio Club (QAC) member is that you get to see and hear a lot of audio equipment that you rarely see in the shops!
