Ittaku
I do not know this cable, but USB has very strict and well defined criteria for meeting USB 2 standards and they've been around for quite a long time. The document can be found here: https://www.usb.org/document-library/usb-20-specification Here is a relevant excerpt from that document: In short, this cable does NOT meet the USB 2 specifications, and no, despite applying analogue cable wisdom that thicker cables are better, that's not necessarily the case when it comes to data that is expected to come in certain frequency and packet forms. I have no idea how this USB cable sounds, but I would not be buying a cable that doesn't even meet the specifications for the task it is designed for.
