rockeater Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 I have just fixed a Shanling remote where rubberized finish had perished and became gooey. My initial thought was to paint it over with Plasti-dip or other similar finish. To start with, I wanted to clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol but... it cleaned off the perished finish and now it is really smooth and non-sticky. So maybe just see if you can clean it off.
